My Mission: Empowering People and Businesses to Thrive with AI

I started the business with a clear mission in mind: to help people and businesses transition into the new world of coexistence with AI. I want to help fight the fear — the fear of losing your job to AI, the fear of losing control of AI, and the fear of missing out on using AI. My goal is to build a symbiotic relationship that benefits both people and organisations, helping everyone understand AI better and preparing them for the inevitable but unknown changes on the horizon.

The Symbiotic Relationship Between Humans and AI

I believe AI should be a tool that enhances not just business outcomes but also personal growth. Whether it’s automating mundane tasks, unlocking creativity, or improving work-life balance, AI can play a crucial role in our lives, allowing us to focus on what truly matters. The future of AI isn’t about replacement; it’s about partnership, empowering both individuals and businesses to focus on higher-value tasks and embrace the full potential of human-AI collaboration.

A Foundation in Social Theory and Technology

In some ways, it feels like my life has always been leading up to this. My dissertation focused on the social theory of Social Networking sites, particularly Facebook, which had come to UK shores via the universities in 2005, during my first year at Nottingham. I argued that these sites would become a part of our everyday lives, almost essential for functioning members of society, extending Donna Haraway’s concept of the Cyborg. Haraway focused on mobile phones to present her ideas decades before the smartphone. Today, it’s tough to argue that phones aren’t necessary for normal life.

Experience in Data, Automation, and AI

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in three major software categories: Data, Low Code/No Code Automation, and AI. My work has given me first-hand experience in real-world digital transformation projects.

Navigating the Challenges of Digital Transformation

I’ve witnessed companies integrate their teams and disparate systems, automate processes to remove bottlenecks, and leverage AI to achieve staggering results. But I’ve also seen the challenging side of digital transformation. Companies overestimating their readiness, neglecting to train their teams, or failing to align their technology with strategic goals often lead to delays, frustration, and wasted resources. These common pitfalls can derail even the most promising projects.

It’s from these experiences that I’ve developed insights and frameworks that ensure transformation is not just smooth but sustainable. I know what works, what doesn’t, and the critical “do’s and don’ts.”

The Future of AI: Opportunities for Businesses and Individuals

As the digital landscape evolves, I see AI and automation becoming an even more integral part of our daily lives, not just in business but in how we live, learn, and connect with the world. My mission is to help both businesses and individuals embrace this future, unlocking untapped potential along the way.

Why I Founded BATC: A Clear, Results-Driven Approach

That’s why I started BATC — to help both companies and people make AI and automation work for them with a clear, effective, and results-driven approach. BATC isn’t just about implementing AI and automation; it’s about creating a partnership where innovation, human expertise, and results-driven solutions come together. I focus on empowering both businesses and individuals, making sure that every step of the transformation journey is clear, actionable, and impactful.
